Securing and Protecting Investments and Capacities for Environmental Sustainability in Nepal (SPICES)

The Securing and Protecting Investments and Capacities for Environmental Sustainability in Nepal (SPICES) program is an initiative of Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Nepal designed to bolster market systems and secure rural livelihoods by building on successful scalable models. This project aims to improve the wellbeing and resiliency of people living on degrading landscapes by improving their farming systems and raising incomes that will also preserve fragile ecosystem and promote biodiversity.
The Organic Valley Pvt. Ltd. serves as a strategic partner in the program, facilitating long-term and mutually beneficial relationships with farmers through field assessments, production system analysis, soil and product analysis and capacity-building trainings to farmers. TOV Nepal will also focus on strengthening farmer groups, promoting sustainable and organic farming practices, identifying market opportunities, and supporting the development of organic value chains in the project areas.
